Nikon SB-R200 with sb800/onboard flash vs R1C1

Postby olrac on Fri Nov 02, 2007 1:06 pm

Ok so I think I am going to get a flash specifically for macro shots.

The only option from Nikon seem to be the SB-R200 but I want to know if getting the R1C1 flash kit or just the SB-R200 and have the sb800 or onboard flash trigger the macro flashes.

has anyone had expirience with these options, any opinions?

There was some discussion of that topic here:

I think having the kit gives you much more flexibility.

I have the kit and highly recommend it as being the way to go :)
