Dave Black and the D3

Postby shakey on Fri Nov 02, 2007 7:20 pm

I love the way Dave Black takes photos. He has had a D3 for 3 months. Some of us have seen some of his basketball and ice hockey shots in the Nikon promo, but he has just posted a heap of shots on his personal site with detailed shooting info. He mostly using the new lens, sometimes with a TC. Using autoISO too (grin...) He's also posted some long exposure shots and lightpainting shots. Simply amazing.

Hey,

I only listened to a pod cast on Thursday about Dave and his work. He likes to work with up to 10 x SB800's. Only if I had the budget..... he likes to share his work flow, idea's and from the interview seems that he's also a real nice guy.

Well worth the look at his web site...
