Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f/2.0 SL-II (MF)

Has anyone tried this lens? It is for sale at B&H and Cameraquest in the US for 379USD.
It is fairly new. Manufactured by Cosina for use as an Ais lens on Nikon.
I've not been able to find any Aussie supplier - couldn't see it on a quick look at Mainline
thanks

Dan,

Is this the pancake?

If so, it's supposed to be a very nice lens. Given that Nikon no longer make their own pancake, this could eb a worthwhile addition into one's kit.

Yep - pancake

"40/2 Aspherical Compact Pancake Lens with Close Up Lens"

taken from this site: http://cameraquest.com/Voigt_SL2.htm

I recall seeing somewhere on the net that the Nikkor pancake 45mm f2.8 (which came with the FM3A when it was in the current Nikon line-up) was manufactured for Nikon by Cosina. Of course if I saw it on the net it must be true ..........

Aha! just found this

and this

you can see it mounted on the D200 and D300 - seems to take pretty good pics judging by the examples on photo.net
