Hi Guys,

What do I need (software and hardware wise) to be able to trigger the D300 from the laptop and capture the images directly to the laptop?

I want to use this setup for product stuff.

(Glen - I know, I know another "how" question  )

Cheers.
:D

There are a few options.

You can do it using Nikon's Camera Control program and combine it with Lightroom

If you're using Aperture, there's a tutorial here :)

Also Bibble supports tethered shooting with the D300.

Andrew, I used Camera Control Pro as suggested above for the AA battery tests, you can download a trial and be up and running in 5 minutes, virtually no learning curve.
