75-300 push-pull AF, what a gem!!
Posted: Tue Jan 05, 2010 9:57 pmI got myself a 75-300 4.5-5.6 push pull zoom today, thought it would be a slouch even though the reviews I read were good. most reviewers gripes were AF speed, but on old F90's back in the day.
This lens would have to be one of the sharpest I have used, its better than my 80-200 2.8 at 300 when stopped down a bit, I dont know wether its the abresion reduction, but for a non ED lens its the goods. The AF speed is awsome on the 300s and it dosnt hunt like the 80-200 when its lost.
