Technical Problem: D200 battery issuesHi all,
I've been experiencing a problem with my D200 in the past week or two: with a fully charged battery loaded, the camera will at times show the low battery icon and almost shut down. this seems to happen only if the camera is in certain positions (pointed up, or down, etc) but the issue is not exclusively apparent at certain more angles than others. i have tried using different batteries, and with the battery grip the problem does not resolve itself. i was thinking of dropping it off to camera clinic in collingwood this week (after a little search) but i would like to know if anyone else has experienced a similar issue, or could perhaps shed some light on how to address it. cheers brentsky
Re: Technical Problem: D200 battery issuesUsual suspects for this problem are:
1 Dirty lens contacts 2 Old firmware Check both, you might be rewarded! Cheers What's another word for "thesaurus"?
Re: Technical Problem: D200 battery issuesIve had the same problem - do both of the things suggested above!!

Re: Technical Problem: D200 battery issuesaah!
i have checked my firmware, re-formatted by CF card, and cleaned the bits - seems she works fine now at least. i have been playing around with some AI lenses and will test her out again this week to see if the issue comes back. thanks digitor and willy!
