Nikon going to MILC

And from the very top of Nikon, we have news that Nikon may have a Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera in the not too distant future.

Engadget and Nikon Rumors both point to a story on Bloomberg where Nikon's President, Makoto Kimura, is quoted as saying this new concept camera "may adopt the so-called mirrorless structure"

Can I complain??? BRING BACK EVIL!!!

How long does it take to go from concept to production? The Samsung took a few years....

It can take quite some time, but I think the NR site is suggesting that we may see this camera poke its head out in Photokina later this year.

Cameron.. can I ask again why you're complaining? I thought you'd love the ability to use your wonderful glass on a camera clearly half the size of your D60 and a third of the size of your D300.. lol

Marucs...my complaint is merely EVIL vs MILC i prefer the EVIL acronym....and yes Nikon Rumors has posted an expected appearance of a Nikon EVIL in March 2011....
