Neat D7000 feature

While reading a review of underwater housings for the D7000 I found out about a neat feature. Normally, when you want to change ISO, you hold down the ISO button and then turn the command dial to change the ISO. If you set Custom f7 to "ON/YES", you only have to press the ISO button once and then you can turn the command without having to hold the ISO button down. It is cancelled by pressing another button or half depressing the shutter release. It can also be set to time out using other settings. It applies to a number of other settings, too, such as EV (both normal and flash), QUAL, WB, meter mode and BKT.

I also noticed this on Cameron's D300. I quite liked it. The only problem I was also using my D200 which is unable to do this. I got very confused at times.

Can I be a smart arse and say that you never asked? I always just assumed that others had stumbled across that feature (BTW the Fuji S5 Pro also has something similar!)
