Konica Minolta No more cameras

Unless they get too big for themselves, this is where you can talk about the "other" brands of DSLR's: Konica Minolta / Sony, Pentax / Samsung, Olympus, Horseman, etc.

Konica Minolta No more cameras

Postby TonyH on Fri Jan 27, 2006 9:18 am

I ran across this article http://www.photographymags.co.uk/nav?pa ... ce=4054537

about the Konica Minolta company no longer making cameras under their own name from March 2006.

Not sure if it has already been posted, if so apologies.
All I know, is that I don't know enough.....

Yep we found out about it last week.

No great loss unless you have KM gear then I would not be happy

It will make it hard to flog their stuff off to punters when the word gets out.

I'm sure Sony will look after the KM fans now they've acquired them.....probably at triple the cost of what their products were beforehand though.....

I wonder if they'll recall all KM products so they can go through the Sony re-badging plant ?

This is actually the third time this has been posted and we're actually having a discussion on Sony based on it... here.

If the news is fairly recent, search before posting, people. :)
