Anyone used the Pentax DFA 100mm F2.8 lens

Unless they get too big for themselves, this is where you can talk about the "other" brands of DSLR's: Konica Minolta / Sony, Pentax / Samsung, Olympus, Horseman, etc.

Anyone used the Pentax DFA 100mm F2.8 lens

Postby isusdfr on Mon Dec 22, 2008 9:44 am

I was wondering if anyone has used the above lens. Thinking about purchasing one. I have a pentax 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 lens but am finding that shutter speeds are too slow when trying to shoot in low light. Any reviews opinions would be helpful.

thanks

David

I have the FA 100/2.8 Macro as its sharper a bit further down the aperture range.

its better than the Tamron 90 Macro as it renders a bit warmer.

the DFA has the advantage of quick shift and ghostless coatings though. 8)
