Fuji cashback

Unless they get too big for themselves, this is where you can talk about the "other" brands of DSLR's: Konica Minolta / Sony, Pentax / Samsung, Olympus, Horseman, etc.

Fuji cashback

For Fuji users there is a $200 cash back promotion on all lenses in the XF range, even those that are not yet available in the stores!

I pulled the plug on a few which I received today from DigiDirect (excellent service BTW). Put in my online claim to Fuji and in under an hour the claims have been approved via email confirmation. A happy chap I am.

Please do reveal what you snagged, there have been silly cashback's on many different brands lately but the Fuji one is definitely one of hte better ones.

Fuji cashback

I succumbed to a 27, 56 and 10-24. I think I am now sorted forever (until the next lens release of course, perhaps the 90mm prime that is on the roadmap).

Those are some nice (and pricey) choices, I am sure you will probably be interested in this though (when it arrives)

Fuji cashback

Actually, that one defeats the object of the smaller kit I was looking for. The 55-200 is big enough and to be honest I don't use the tele lenses very much.

I have never owned so many lenses in any system I have previously had. I now prefer to use primes, which is also far removed from my DSLR days where I predominantly used zoom lenses.

I understand, but at the same time Fuji needs that lens (and the 16-55/2.8) to entice the enthusiast that wants an XT1 as a DSLR replacement that is capable of doing what a DSLR does. I personally am not a tele person either but if I was using the FUji X system it would be one that I am looking at with interest (my Nikkor 70-200/2.8VR is worth its weight in gold when I do need to use it).

I agree with the Fuji need (the company) to get more of the DSLR market and suspect that the 50-140 and 16-55 will be very much sought after glass, probably not for me but never say never!

Now my dilemma with the three recent purchases is that I can only have one of them now, the other two are to be reserved for Christmas! I am probably going with the 56, I can see that being one of my most used along with the 23.

My Fuji cash back claim was approved in 5 minutes. Hopefully the moolah will be back in my account soon enough. Well done Fuji Australia.
