Black & White conversionCould someone recommend black & conversion plugin for Photoshop?

Re: Black & White conversionuse the RAW converter....... just slide the saturation slider all the way to the left........ and use the other sliders to ajust contrast, tone, and more

Re: Black & White conversionI do an adjustment layer with the channel mixer. Tick the monochrome box, and then adjust RGB channels to get the look you want. Although there is a contrast slider in the channel mixer choice, I don't use it. I next do another adjustment layer with the Brightness/Contrast option to get the contrast I want.
As has been mentioned there are many ways to do B&W conversions. I think the channel mixer and separate contrast layers gives you more flexibility than the H/S option but just take a couple of photos and have a play.
Re: Black & White conversionOption x, convert to LAB mode, go to the channels (I think) and discard the "a" & "b" channels (I believe if you discard one, you automatically discard the other).
