I find that those powerlines are distracting, but i am crap at removing things like that. It just needs some fine touching up, but i cant pick out what it needs. Same again, It just needs some fine touching up, but i cant pick out what it needs. Same again, It just needs some fine touching up, but i cant pick out what it needs. Cheers,

Re: PP A few of my photosHey Andrew - had a quick play
The old house shot, I really wanted to bring out more detail in the sky and the moodiness of the shot (my interpretation), so using a layer, after using the healing brush to get rid of the power lines (and of a really strange horizontal line going across the sky ????) adjusted the levels for the clouds, and then a layer for the buildings where I dodged the highlights, flattened layers and then did a quick sharpen.... the cat I just wanted to get rid of the background - to me it was a bit 'busy', dodged some of the highlight on the cat - particularly in the eye, and a smart sharpen on a layer Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
