Dynamic Photo HDR

I have come across an alternative HDR application to Photomatix called Dynamic Photo HDR. I haven't had a chance to try it out thoroughly yet but it seems capable and is somewhat cheaper. It will be interesting to see if it tends to the same over-contrasty and -saturated results as Photomatix or not. The anti-ghosting option also looks interesting. It is available for both Windows and Mac.

This gives quite interesting results. I have an old version and it can process single JPEGs to give a characteristic look.

I downladed and had a go with the trial version today, got a nice result. I will play with a few more shots before I make up my mind.

I find that Photomatixx gives the better results and i will stick with that!

I have trialled Photomatix, Artizen and Dynamic Photo and found that Dynamic wins hands down. If you use the control sliders you can turn down the way over the top HDR results and get some very realistic HDRs. The single shot option is also good enough to use on photos with moving subjects that cant be bracketed.
