http://picasa.google.com.au/ Has anybody tried it?. It seems to do all the basics with regards to organising your pics on the computer. Having tried a number of these sorts of programs in the past and being dissatisfied with the results / performance thought I would ask first Andyt
It's not that new Andy - It's been around for a while...
It has been discussed here several times in the past and several members use it... Do a search on Picasa and you'll be able to find their experiences... Cheers, John

Andy, I use it , it is easy, quick and has one of the best straightening actions of any program. Others who have given it a go also like it. It is not photoshop but for most of what you need to do, it works. It also does a great job of indexing your pics...
Canon
If your not already aware the latest update works with NEF's as well.
I have only just started using it and I think its great (especially as its for free). Its just so much easier and faster than using Nikon view or the microsft raw viewer to review and organise pictures, especially nef files. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0510/05101401picasa_21.asp
