need help with choosing a B+W polarising filter frm mainline

Postby shockadelica- on Sun Oct 30, 2005 1:52 am

im looking to buy from mainlinephoto.com.au
the two lenses i own at this point in time are
62mm and 67mm

i was thinking of getting a 77mm filter
now because im getting a 77mm filter to fit lenses in the 60mm range
im guessing i wont have to worry about getting the slim model polariser.

is this correct?

these are the three i have to chose from

B+W Circular Polarising Filter

B+W MRC Circular Polarising Filter
http://www.mainlinephoto.com.au/prod268.htm

B+W MRC Slim Circular Polarising Filter
http://www.mainlinephoto.com.au/prod338.htm

im probably looking at the multicoated and the slim version of the multicoated but really need some help

and also does anyone know if mainline sell ND filters?

thanks guys

1. get the B+W MRC Slim Circular Polarising Filter, that way when you do buy a wide angle lens with 77mm thread you have less concern about it vignetting on you lens.

2. B+W do make neutral density filter you may have to ring up mainline to confirm that they stock them. I dont see why they wont?
