Polarising FiltersI'm going on the Great Victorian Bike Ride in a few weeks time. I'm thinking that to maximise the photo ops I'd like to get a polarising filter. It'll be late spring/early summer along the Murry River and down through central Victoria.
My problem is that I'm quite poor at the moment. Finances will be better next month but too late for the ride. Do I put up with my sky not being as blue as it could be or do I buy a cheap nasty one for the trip. If I get a cheap one, which one? Chris
I found I have been using a linear PL filter ( non circular ) on my d70. I must have grabbed an old on in a rush one day.
It does not seem to affect the auto focus in any way, I was surprised. Any PL is better than No PL I would never consider leaving home without one for every lens. Cheers doug
