No more Wired Flash Sync Cord?

Postby NikonUser on Mon Nov 21, 2005 9:26 pm

Hi there,

Now that the SC-29 has been discontinued and the new wireless flash commander has been announced... does that mean there will no longer be a wired flash option?

I currently use my SB-800 off the camera wirelessly but am not happy with all of the pre-flashes that happen before the flash fires..... I was trying to take photos of small birds today and they all were flying off before the pre-flashes had done their thing.

So is there going to be no more wired flash cord from Nikon? If so then I'd better hurry up and try and find an SC-29!!!

Thanks

Paul
