I am sure that Santa will be bringing many a D70s so I think that 1500 will happen well before new year

Hi Ant!
Welcome...you will find a great bunch of people here. It is advisable to have a look at the FAQ - you are also encouraged to put your geographical location in your profile. This helps both you and others that may help you in the future. I know you will love what this forum is about!!

Back in June 2005 I had a look at the numbers and wrote:With the addition of our latest 500+ poster and Senior Member yeocsa (Arthur), I got to wondering how many Senior Members we have.
The answer is 36, with a total of 51,282 posts between them, at an average of 1,424.5
The total number of posts is 72,730 so the highest 36 posters have contributed 70.5% of the total posts.
We have 816 members, 381 of whom have not posted anything.
The average number of posts among those who have posted is 167.2, among all members is 89.1
Thread here.
Interesting that we are only a hundred or so members from doubling our size since then, and the the number of people who have not made a post in Mal's review is exactly the number of members we had in June!!
Good work Mal, love stats.

More trhan simply encouraged now - it's actually a rule, and early in the new year, those who do not have this done will be banished to a new group who will not be able to post messages to anything but one other message section which will hopefully make clear to them their need to comply.
