Back from South America (Chile and Argentina)

Postby Willy wombat on Sun Jan 08, 2006 3:34 pm

Hello all - i just made it home and am waiting to hit the sack. Havent slept for just over 30 hours and am exhausted. To avoid total jet lag i need to stay awake for a few more hours though. Man i love being 2 meters tall and being squeezed into those snug little plane seats. Did someone say "shoe horn"?

For those that dont know or cant remember i just spent the last 4 weeks in South America - Chile and Argentina to be exact.

Shot just over 2500 shots and will be posting my top few (a discrete selection) up over the next week after the mega down load and many processing sessions. Make sure you keep a look out for them. Hope all had a happy new year and good holiday period. Looking forward to trawling through the site to see what people have been contributing.

Hasta luego amigos
WW :)

Sleep first - then photos Birddog! Right now eyes are blurry from jet lag. All the new gear got good field testing. So many questions to ask (all in due course though).

More soon (promise)

Just downloaded all the images today. Cut the chaff from the grain after previewing them but i still have over 1000 images. Man - where do i start?

Andes mountains
Patagonia
Glaciers
Canyons
Architecture and city scapes
Animals and plants?

Some one pick one for me please and i will work from there.

Excellent, it's good to hear you are back safe and sound. i too look forward to your images but best to do them at your own pace. I'm sure we will enjoy them regardless of which ones you do first :)
