Printing Paper Help?

Postby TonyH on Wed Feb 08, 2006 5:48 pm

A while ago I saw at a gallery prints produced onto what appeared to be a silver metallic paper. They had been printed on a wide format printer.

Getting output on a wide format printer is not an issue, howerver I can't locate a supplier for this base material.

Has anyone had experience with this type of substrate? I don't think it is suitable for the A4 & A3 printers and must be a specialty stock.

The beauty of this material is when you output Australian desert scenes or metal objects they really come to life and give a richness and depth of colour which is not achieveable with standard papers.

Maybe a wild goose chase but worth asking.

Cheers

Tony

Metalic prints are available from Streets in Fortitude Valley.

I use them, and they are great to deal with.

I think the printers in Widsor will do them.
