Nikon Veiw Any users??

Postby BBJ on Sat Feb 18, 2006 11:36 pm

Hi All, well i usually use Nikon Veiw to resize my pictures for the web and for some reason it works but the output to the folder ends up with hoting but a 0kb file in it. So i have uninstalled and reinstallen and even dwnoaded new version and still no go.

So how can i batch process to resize all my pics in 1 hit, have had a look in PS but not sure if it will do this, any hint on other proggies or how to fix my problem??
Thanks
John

Which version of Photoshop are you using John?

If it's the latest, then you might want to give Tools-->Photoshop-->Image Processor a try - that'll do what you want...

If you're using the last version, then you can download the Image Processor as a plug-in from russellbrown.com

Yep... Select all the images you want to convert in Bridge and then run the Image Processor... If you go into the Raw Converter for each image first, you can adjust the exposure, sharpening and other settings first and the Image Processor will take this into account when converting... You may still need to sharpen the final images though.

If you installed CS2 from a standard disk, then Adobe Camera Raw should be included as standard... If not, then you can download it from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html

You will need to save it in the File Fomats folder which is buried somewhere deep in the Adobe folder...

Thanks again John, works a treat. Git the RAW plugin and all up and running so thats good not that i would always use this, but maybe i will instead on Nikon Capture now.
