Nikkor 18-200 VR supply delays

Postby griffo on Tue Mar 14, 2006 3:07 pm

Hi all,

I've done a quick search of the forum, and haven't turned anything up.

Has anyone got a Nikkor 18-200 lens on order, and if so what sort of time frame is your supplier giving you.

I ordered one about 14 days ago, originally I was told "about a week", then when the week was up "another 5-7 days". Now that time is up and they're telling me "2-3 weeks, not really sure".

Is anyone else getting the same response? If it's a common problem I'd like to know.

Cheers
griffo

Sounds like the same thing that's happening with the D200.
