Three more peeves 1. Rubbish and litter on the beach. (Yes- I do pick rubbish up when I see it and put it in bins - even though one person in the world doing this won't make a shred of difference but it makes me feel as though I've done some good) A lot of councils do not have street waste stormwater rubbish traps installed and there is no excuse for this. 2. People who drive with an unleashed dog or two running around the back of a ute or tray truck. 3. Public toilets with pervert holes drilled in walls between cubicles. Cheers Graham
It's not just the polution that is an issue. Last summer two people and I pulled over the side of the road to put out a grass fire that had started by some fuckwit that threw a lit but out the window. $200 fine is nothing compared the damage they can cause. Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?
Pedantic, if that is the right word, but great. She must of thought big brother was watching. We all get away with slack things from time to time because we think people don't notice or worse still, care.

Heh Geoff you could've had more fun with that phone call like asking her what she was doing for the weekend, etc Great job though!

Come follow the rabbit hole...
You'll love this one. In our local pool the indoor pool is level with the ground and running down two sides is grated to filter the water. There right in front of me one day a woman blew her nose (several times) into the grated section. After I nearly vomitted I couldn't get me and kids out of that pool fast enough. Some people are idiots, and just don't care about anything and anyone other than themselves. "Sometimes when you are sad Poko, it's good to hug the monkey."

Unbelievable..... can you discharge a double barelled snot gun in public? All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
There are really evil minds out there. And dammit that I didn't think of that one first! g.

Then I'd better not tell you about what Lindy told me she saw last week, in a pub, while having an after work drink with some friends. Apparantly this is one of those establishments that uses an in-house pager/vibrator, and another patron there- a rather large female wearing ill-fitting jeans and with a butt crack exposed - was waiting for her meal order to be cremated. Er, created. Let's just say that it may be in order for you to reconsider how you might wish to handle those pager devices next time you're in restaurant uses them. g.

Thanks, that's a disturbing image that is now embedded in my mind every time I handle one of those pagers..... Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?
With tissues, might I suggest? Speaking seriously, the real problem with that, though, is how would one handle (for want of a better word) such an issue? There are clearly public health issues in play, but(t) it's not exactly the sort of thing you can easily report to the pub's staff, and even if you do, how would reasonably expect them to deal with it? g.

What I want to know is was she excited when her meal was ready..... All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
The word I have is that she laughed, so I guess that the earth did move for her. g.

Maybe that should be one of our challenges - see how many people you can photograph in one day picking their nose whilst driving. Double points awarded for ”the hungary” nose picker

Well done Geoff. And don't you just love it when some fool throws a butt out their car window at 100k on the highway and this great shower of sparks comes flying back at you. Instant road rage

Going back to the beinning of the thread (why am I always late to all the interesting threads?), I have to wholeheartedly agree with Birdy:
Our sheltered, eden-like existance far* from the really disgusting and sickening everyday happenings in the world apparently makes us crave for horrid things to ruin our day, so we seek refuge in chastising tossers, butt flickers and similar sort of scum. Tolerance is a virtue, too. As is reason. If I start complaining about the environmental effect of smokers, despite the thick brown cloud of smog that adorns our city most mornings, and the black plumes of soot blasted into the air by trucks, please prod me with a cattle taser, because I must be losing it. Cheers Steffen * not necessarily in terms of kilometres
Luckily, I smoke small cigars and they are totally bio-degradable... I stub them out on the street and shred them under my foot without any guilty feelings...
I once chucked one out of the car and driver of the Range Rover behind me took exception, honked his horn and proceeded to agressively chase me down the freeway.... I have no doubt which of us was being more environmentally unfriendly Any 4WD driver should not pretend that they are concerned about the environment... Cheers, John

An excellent portrait of Leeky. I gave up smoking nearly a year ago. Today I am having a cigar. It tastes great but everything seems to be spinning around. It is a bloody huge Havana. Regards

That's what I keep thinking when I see it. The pollution is bad enough, but starting fires is really quite naughty. If only is was legal to shoot smokers in self defense "yeronner, he was blowing toxic smoke at me, so I blew him away". (un?)fortunately I only shoot people with my camera http://moz.net.nz/canc2/photo/large/124 ... _home.html http://www.moz.net.nz
