Full moon?Anyone know when the next full moon is?
Have just received a 2.0x TC and want to whack it on my 400 and shoot the moon (What else is a 800mm, f11 lens good for? ). Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/

Check the local paper a day or two in advance to determine the best time to be out on the location. Usually the best photos are made one day after the full moon when the moon is rising into the twilight rather than the late afternoon light!
Dion,
This site also has useful info for sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset, moon and planet phases. Being by Australian Gov, you can put in your city/town/beach and find some fairly accurate times. Oneputt - I certainly am not a fisherman. Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
Oneputt,
Dion shoots with a Canon. If he fished it would be with dynamite Steve
