EOI - DSLRUsers.com Screensaver

Postby owen on Thu Jul 13, 2006 2:03 pm

Hi everyone. I don't know if this has been discussed before but I thought since it's coming up to the Anniversary weekend then it might be a good time to bring it up.

What does everyone think about putting together a DSLR screensaver that contains an image or two from anyone who wants to contribute?

The way I see it is that the following things would need to be done:

name in text on the image somewhere
max size of image possibly 1024 wide or 800 high
I'm guessing we can either put the final screensaver up here, or I'm happy to host it on my site also.

Anyway, who would be interested in this?

Sounds like a good plan Owen. It'd be great to see images from members all in one place.

I'd be happy to contribute and I think it would make a nice "package" to show case the talent we have here on the forum.

Lousy idea. I don't need other people's brilliant photos rubbed in my face every day :( :(

Seriously though, I am not sure about a screensaver, but I would like to see a "best of 05/06" collection compiled from all the best efforts this year :)

I agree that it would be great to see a screensaver of all the POTW's. However when posting this originally I did so with the thought that anyone who is a member can contribute to it. Having just POTW's would exclude a lot of people.

Agreed Owen - that's what I thought your intentions were. I'm never likely to get a PoTW..!

Great idea.

It'd be great for everyone to be able to post their best photo. Could be a very big screensaver though :-)
