CRT monitorI have just unpacked my new Viewsonic 19" CRT monitor...it's huge! And I still can't believe the price...$179!!! These things cost an arm and a leg a couple of years ago. The salesman said everybody wanted a flatscreen LCD and they couldn't shift the CRTs. Strange world....form over function.
Regards
Matt. K
Figured you were buying one Matt given your post elsewhere about the sale price. You'll love it. Are you going to set up dual monitors, or just replace your current CRT? If the former you'll probably need a new video card.

Rah; I had trouble selling my pair of flat 21" CRTs last week; $135ea. Sounds like you got a good deal and you're happy with them. That said, nothing like working on a pair of widescreen 20" LCDs now; LCD technology has sure come a long way...
I had to pay $20 to take my (working) CRT monitor to the dump the other day. The additional charge is associated with the dangerous chemicals inside them (flame retardants, etc).
19" monitor will be sweet. So cheap. Steve (Nikon D200/D700)
