Is there any reason that the bargains section has been hidden/removed?

I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"

From reading between the lines and the PMs and emails that I have received today I would say Birddog has retired from this Community and for reasons we may never know .It is evident this has happened from this statement Quote all will be made clear soon. Anything done will be done for the good of the Community.
Is their any reason that the Community members that make this site are been kept in the dark ?

I for one would miss his generosity and friendship .Let’s see where we go from here

Loz

I urge you NOT to engage in speculation. Members are NOT being kept in the dark. Gary will have some comments tomorrow.

I have just posted a statement, along with some comments, in this thread.

Because a few questions have been raised here, I will now address those questions. Please understand that much of what you may have been told so far may not be accurate.

What I have stated in the other thread is fact. My answers to your questions here will also be factual.

Tim, Thanh has been here, but in stealth mode. Any user may set their presence on the forum to Invisible; that is Thanh's normal mode, and I have no issues with members who choose to do this. As an admin, I am still able to see all members when they are online, and I can assure you that Thanh has been online here, reading posts, but choosing to not respond, many times over the last ten days or so.

Why does a member choose to conceal their presence? I don't know.

Why does a member choose to not respond to posts? I don't know.

Tim, Thaddeus: The bargain section has been removed because, in all honesty, when Thanh is failing to respond to emails, posts, and other members, I cannont in all honesty permit the bargains section to remain. I don't know that there is any risk to members' money, but basically, I think I need to act and advise caution until things settle down. For those wishing to make new purchases, I would respectfully suggest reverting to direct contact with HK supplies.

Any issues relating to outstanding orders should be directed to Thanh, directly.

Loz, Thanh has, for whatever reason, basically taken his bat and ball and gone home. I for one do not want that to be permanent, but when Thanh refuses to talk, respond, listen .... not just to me, but to the whole team of Mods, plus a few others .... Thnis now is entriely Thanh's call.

I'll be very frank and state that he has done a couple of things that have upset me personally, but in saying that, i don't think that those are all that important. What is important are the two primary issues that I raised in my statement as referred to earlier.

And let me be very clear about this: those are the only points of contention that exist between the Mods and Thanh.

The community members were not being kept in the dark; the leaders of this community have been trying, for ten days, to resolve this problem.

It's difficult to do that though, when there's one party that's refusing to even talk to the other one. Bloody frustrating too, I might add.

Hopefully that addresses the points that you have raised thus far. I'll close this thread now, as the thread I've started is now the more correct place to discuss this matter.
