Borge's Imaging - No Ilford Paper anymore?

Postby Geoff on Fri Sep 08, 2006 12:35 pm

I was just taking a look at Borge's Imaging website and did a search for Ilford Paper - nothing, zip. Anyone know why they aren't stocking this anymore? Where's the next best place to get the A3+ Smooth Pearl Paper?

Glen - my wallet is all too aware that Borge's are literally around 3 corners from my house! I am sure the guys there are sick of me wandering in on a Saturday morning, although the last 3 times I have been, I have actually bought stuff. :D

Peter, out of interest, (and presuming you requested delivery of the paper) how long did it take to get the paper?

Cheers

3 days. They RANG me the day of the order to apologise the paper was out of stock. Split my order for free (I'd ordered a Loweprowe AW200 at the same time) and, as said, the paper arrived via courier 3 days later. Couldn't be happier with their service

Peter, I placed an order online on Monday and just received an email this afternoon that my order has been processed and I should receive the paper in up to 3 business days or so. This seems reasonable as the CC payment had to be processed.

Ok, having received the email on Friday last week saying that DCW had processed my order for the Ilford paper, I received it all on Monday, packed tighter than a drum - I now have a great supply of bubble wrap  So, start to finish in less than 5 working days. Pretty impressed.
