Photo Assignment - art direction help?

Postby Justin on Fri Sep 15, 2006 3:14 pm

I've got an assignment to shoot someone so you know what their passion is - one of the ladies at the company is an australian bodybuilding champ and has kindly consented to allowing me to shoot her at the gym.

Any advice?

I'm thinking some -
- wide angle shots from a close perspective to capture the machine and workout,
- 1/30s shots to capture some motion blur
- fill flash ? this softens shadows so if I want to capture definition maybe without flash, or perhaps some remote flash to backlight...
- details shots showing expressions

Justin
Here's an idea...set up a mini studio and get her to pose in leotards with muscles bulging....then get her to dress up to the eyeballs in something fashionable and do the same pose. Join half of each image together to illustrate that a women can be a body builder and a women at the same time.

No thanks neccessary :D :D :D :D :D
