Home from OS (to Australia anyway)Hi all
A very quick message to say hello and let you know that i and my D70 have returned after my trip away to Japan, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. Plenty of photos to share after i get back to Canberra in the new year. The only issue/problem i had whilst overseas was the dodgy electricity in Vietnam and a smoking battery charger (which no longer works) Oh, that and a few cases of the squids (but i will spare details). Anyone else ever blown up a battery charger? Highlights of the trip - Kyoto and autumn colours in Japan Angkor Wat Skujii fish markets in Tokyo Lowlights of the trip - Taxi driver scam in Hanoi Border crossing scam and currency exchange scam in Cambodia Running out of memory and batteries in Thailand. Hope all had Merry Christmas etc and got plenty from Santa. Cheers WW Steve (Nikon D200/D700)

Hi Steve,
merry Christmas and a happy new year. Good to see that you came back in one piece with lots of photos. Pity you smoked your charger. Please show us you treasured photographic captures. I still haven't processed all my photos from a year ago. welcome back, CD
Welcome Back Steve, have a Happy New Year and look forward to seeing your shots when you have time to post them.
Not sure about the charger recall Wider but there was a recall for the batteries. Mine didnt qualify.
Anyway im back in Canberra as of today and the marathon download has now commenced. Will probably still be downloading into the new year. Photos comming soon. Steve (Nikon D200/D700)
