Coming back soon :)

Postby xerubus on Mon Oct 29, 2007 6:16 pm

Hello all! Long time between drinks :D

Just thought I'd better pop in and say hello, and let everyone know that I will be coming back into the photography world very soon. :) Should have some dslr gear within a month.

Things have been very good since I have been on my 'break' :) The kayak fishing has been outstanding, the family time has been wonderful, and I've had plenty of time to get my priorities sorted out.

Look forward to sharing some shots in the near future. I won't be doing any more commissioned work, nor working for the Queensland Fire & Rescue Service... I've decided just to keep enjoy doing macro photography, and just enjoy the hobby rather than having the 'must work' stigma attached to my photography.

Now I only have 25000 odd posts to catch up on :)

Hope everyone is well.

Cheers

-Mark

Welcome back Mark, good to see you coming back for the right reasons too.

When it becomes a chore or a job for me where I get no personal enjoyment our of it I'll know it's time to pack it all in... I already have one of those things, don't need two or one to take over.

Can't wait to see some more of your macro work :)

Hey mich... nothing special mate... I'm not going to even attempt to buy everything I had, so I'm just going to start off with a d80, tamron 90mm, 24mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, (or sigma 10-20 not sure yet) and an sb800. don't need any pro bodies anymore, so that will keep me more than amused for a while.
