Naming a photo ??

Postby Big Red on Fri Nov 23, 2007 11:04 am

for images that will be printed, framed and mounted on a wall etc.

do you name the pic by a small text in bottom right of the pic?
do you put your name on the pic [like some paintings] ?

whats your thoughts on it?

Wouldnt that depend on the photo?
Some photo's would be degraded by placing text or logo's on the photo, in the same way that different frames suit different photos.
Ive been playing with different frames and naming too. What I want to end up with is a range of simlar styles that I can choose to suit different photos.

There are no rules on this one. I prefer small text bottom right hand quarter. I think whatever method you choose it should be discreet and not distract from the image.
