What material is the Sprocket?
If it is not aluminium then don’t try to have it welded. Things that are diecast are notoriously hard to weld, especially aluminium. The metal heats up too quickly and deforms sometimes completely melting. Your best bet is to attach with screws or rivets. If the beauty dish is not too heavy then industrial glue like Sika-flex might do the job well enough depending on the surface area being glued. Hope this helps.
hi
the beauty dish itself aitn that heavy but when my flashes are attached to it it starts to get heavy the sprocket may be aluminium not too sure its a pretty standard thing on any lightstand or strobe head are you a metalworker? Wendell Levi Teodoro

I used to be a boilermaker, I am now an IT nerd.
I would look at the adhesive option as it will not damage the beauty dish. and it is reversable if you find it is not what you expected/wanted.
