Go 3rd party - the stofen omnibounce, still ridiculously expensive at $30-50 for a piece of white plastic. The nikon diffusion dome was probably modelled after the stofen anyways.

MHD,

Just throwing up another option. Have you heard of the Lightsphere II ?

Looks weird - slightly on the pricey side too at USD$39, but apparently from the reviews it gives really good results. I'm having a guy pick one up for me in a couple of weeks and post a review of the results.

Buy a new flash SB-800/ the dome may cost you around $80.00 :shock: not surprise me at all :wink:
