Gray D70 or aus D70?

Postby shutterbug on Thu Feb 17, 2005 11:51 am

Hi everyone,

Thinking about getting another D70. Should I get a gray D70 or should just get one with maxwell warranty?

I got one recently with the $200 rebate. Can I get another one and claim the $200 again?

Body only?

I'd buy grey!

Unless you're thinking of the new dribble, in which case, silver. :)

No rebate of $200 on body only, to eligible for rebate, the invoice has to be with minimum of 01 Nikon lens.
If you're after the body only, then of course the Grey D70 will be better value than the Maxwell stock.

Yes, if this is the case then your choice of getting the D70 with kit lens from Maxwell stock, get a rebate of $200.00 and sell the 18-70 after.
But work it out at the end it's the same price if you buy the Grey D70 body only. If you buy grey D70, you don't have to strecth out $600.00 up front and not to worry to find the buyer for the odd 18-70.
