Just got this site emailed to me by some frineds of mine who are calling this a D70 Killer - No idea if this is real or a fake like so much before it

As a suggestion, you might want to look at what is being covered by existing discussion threads before you start new ones.

Canon's new dribble is already being discussed here.

And there's usually little need to repost/cross-post your message in that thread either ...

And no, it's not going to be a D70 Killer. It's a lobotomised 20D. With the same crappy kit lens that the original dribble had.

If anything was going to be a D70 killer, it would be the 20D, and as good a camera as that may be, it's still lacking a number of features that the D70 has, and I don't believe that it's rendered any dents on the D70's sales.

Actually if there was going to be a D70 killer, it would be the Konica Minolta 7D. If the price was the same as the D70, I reckon it would be.
