At last but I need help!

Postby Oneputt on Mon Jun 30, 2008 2:23 pm

You will recall my trials and tribulations dealing with Adobe on my platform switch from PC to Mac, well today just over a month since the saga began a new CS3 disc arrived. Now all I need is for the key they sent me by email not to work :( Keeping fingers crossed :D

Now to process 1500 RAW images.

Yes Glenn the Mac was repaired and I love it and CS3 installed OK with the key they emailed me. At last I have a grin on my face. :D

Just one problem. Whilst I did not have CS3 I downloaded some images with NX2 and now they will not open in PS. Any idea how I convert them as I think that all of the original images have been deleted from my cards?

I just checked and they are still on the card but now show up in PS as NX files and PS will not open them.

I don't use CS3 but have you added the NEF plug in? It is available from their site (your friends Adobe). Glad it all got resolved.

Bernie it makes no difference it simply tells me that it doesn't recognise this type of file. I suspect it might be a preference issue but cannot find where.

as Big Red suggested, i think you need to update the Camera Raw plug in.. the stock one that comes with CS3 isnt new enough for your D3 (iirc, thats the camera you use?)
