Wetlands meet...thanks

Postby Matt. K on Wed Feb 23, 2005 8:09 pm

Been offline for awhile with tech problems, so this is a bit late. Thanks to Stubbsy for his generous hospitality and giving me and others a guided tour of the wetlands. Yes...it was 38 degrees and....yes...the humidity was was 80%...and yes...the birds were scarce on the water...but what the hell, we were out with our cameras and that's all that counts. And yes...Sheepie and Killakoala and Stubbsy outshot me and yes.....the bottle of wine that Stubbsy chose to go with our lunch was supurb...(I hope we didn't leave your cellar understocked?)......but a great day and great memories. Thanks Peter...and thanks Sheepie for showing me the real potential of the 70-300mm lens. I was impressed!
Regards

With Sheepie's and Killa's efforts with the 70-300, it may develop a cult following on this board. Buy them now before there is a shortage.

Matt

Hopefully everyone had a good time. So far as the cellar is concerned I've probably still got a bottle or 2 for next time

Given you've been offline a while I'm expecting you'll have some wetland pics ready for us soon - I'm looking forward to seeing your shots.

Seeing how long Matt has been offline, I expect he would have about 7695 posts to get through.
