At last the decision is made and goods delivered.D700 and Sigma 120-300 f2.8 I shot some muso's at the pub tonight-6400iso
on camera high noise reduction--WOW very impressive 1st up.Full days Sat and Sun with an on site shoot indoors I hope it turns out well.There are lots of settings to ponder .Wish me luck.PS thanks for all the opinions/advice I have considered everyones comments--jim

I used this combo trackside at Indy (after scamming a D700 off NPS), and was impressed. The colour rendition with the D700 is awesome, and the LCD displays images well enough to see if you are exposing correctly. Good luck with the shoot!
2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc
