More Aviation Photographs

Postby Greg B on Fri Oct 09, 2009 9:10 am

This particular PPS is called "Best Aviation Photography"

A big claim. You will have seen a few of these before, the 747 coming in to land
low over the beach, the SU-27 doing a low pass over the runway in the Russian Airshow
collection several weeks ago, and some others, but overall this is an enjoyable group of
photos displaying good photographic techniques and various aircraft. Quite a few
airliners, and some military.

Enjoy.

That gumpy Airbus is the Airbus A300-600ST (Super Transporter) or Beluga - Beluga because it looks
a bit like a beluga whale from the side. Weird looking thing, amazing that it flies. The aircraft was
developed to transport Airbus parts between the various component factories which are located
around Europe, and the main assembly operations in France and Germany.
