Bad wedding photosThis is an example of how NOT to take wedding photos
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1218248/Newlyweds-win-court-battle-1-500-wedding-photographer-shoddy-pictures-include-missing-heads-car-close-ups.html The article and sample photographs is quite funny I think! Bandwidth here is not good enough to play the video unfortunately but I recon that would be a hoot as well. Cheers Graham
Re: Bad wedding photosCrap, Crap crapola..... I've taken way better photos as a guest (and had "better" gear than the pro with the paid gig (and that was only a D200 + 28-70 f2.8 + SB800)...... but the pro could really work the film Pentax + grip + flash + lens and had the eye, I will admit, and it was a budget wedding.........

Re: Bad wedding photosThat was very sad to see...another wannabe! I think a monkey with a compact would have done a better job!!
As for the video...that was very bad....silhouettes and all sorts of jerky movements. Cameron

Re: Bad wedding photosShit! It's not like they can reshoot! Poor couple.
Re: Bad wedding photosOuch! I guess the couple's best bet is asking the wedding guests whether any of them took some snaps with their P&Ses...
Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul
Re: Bad wedding photos
It seems that they intend to. What I've heard is that the photographer that was chosen by them has been shooting weddings for about four years, but in that time, has only completed 20 jobs. That is not a whole lot of experience. Sadly, this emphasises the instances that we discuss whereby somebody believes that all that it takes for one to become a professional photographer is to acquire a DSLR and some glass. More than anything else, this clearly illustrates that it's the individual behind the lens that matters, not the gear. Know your gear, to the point that it becomes an extension of your arm. Understand the full enormity of the tasks at hand. Once you sign up for a paid gig, you do have a responsibility to complete it in a professional and workmanlike manner. g.

So does that mean I get to just stand around and look like I'm doing my work? Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
Re: Bad wedding photos
Re: Bad wedding photosI like how the "photographer" in question tried to pull of the the artistic angled look
Must have seen it somewhere in a magazine and though "I could pull that off"! Steve (Nikon D200/D700)

Re: Bad wedding photos
This guy is a genius. If he scored 20 wedding with that level of skill, I'm going to employ him to do my marketing for me
Re: Bad wedding photos

Re: Bad wedding photoswow, they went to 11 fairs to view others work, and chose him... maybe even I could do weddings...
