D2x....D2Xs....with many new cameras that have come onto the market, I was wondering, as there were quite a few members using the above for some time, do you still have the D2Xs and is it still being used.......
....... I pulled mine out today to do a few quick happy snaps of my front and rear decks as they are being sanded on monday. I am still amazed at the low ISO quality of this camera...... Cheers ....bp....

Re: D2x....D2Xs....Bernie,
I still have my D2x for crop factor of 1.5. Along with the D3 I think I am in heaven fozzie
When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
Re: D2x....D2Xs....
....... and the D2Xs still feels good in the hand. I still use mine, chasing the odd bird on a bright sunny day with the Bigma....... might have to use mine more, as it only has 9195 shots taken...... too many toys Cheers ....bp....

Re: D2x....D2Xs....I'm still using my D2h's for remote shots or stunt shots. Just cause they are older bodies doesnt mean they dont produce the goods at low ISO. Lovely contrasted shots.

Re: D2x....D2Xs....come on, we know you are out there..... all the closet D2h and D2X users......
or any old digital camera users, tell, about your old piece of gear that still gives good results ..... I have passed my D70s to my son, so he can get some good pixs of his new born. The lens he has, the fantastic plastic, Nikon 50-mm 1.8, and getting some great available light pixs..... nice to see this old camera still performing Last edited by big pix on Sun Oct 25, 2009 12:41 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: D2x....D2Xs....My trusty old D2H is still my No.1 body. That said, the current D700 prices and the strong PP make me quiver with temptation...
Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul
Re: D2x....D2Xs....Our D2Xs makes the occasional appearance these days. A good backup body to compliment the D3 & D300. If we where shooting more outdoor sports then it would be used far more. Going a outdoor shoot with a model in the country over this coming Cup weekend and suspect it will get used.

Re: D2x....D2Xs....The D2X still is my only camera (most of the time I lend out my D70 + 24-120VR to mates). I just come back from 4 weeks in France and I must say the high ISO ability of a D3 (X) would have been appreciated inside buildings; otherwise it still does a very good job. I am waiting for the 24MP prices to come down before updating. I am sure the bigger screen, live- view and a better view finder would be appreciated.
