Whos Stock and Price D3s?

Any heads up on the delivery and price of a D3s Au stock?? There are 2 on the way to Adelaide at $7150
My D3(3 monthe old isdue to enter the FS section)

I understand that Nikon did their usual trick and only brought a limit number of D3s in. I was hoping I was far enough up the short list to get one from a shop today, but wasn't to be. Maybe in a few weeks time I'm told.

Thanks Andre but typically no price quoted on the D3s. I will pick one up tomorrow for $6750 in Adelaide

My understanding is that Nikon Oz have no control over the tock that gets shipped to them. They may order whatever they wish, but they get what is sent, and no more.

We are a but a piddling market in terms of size, and so they just throw us a few morsels every now and then.

Spot on. What I found, which backs this up, is there were a reasonable number of stores who got stock but didn't have pre-orders. So I was able to get one and at a good price.

It's a big leap up from a D200
