A Sony user

Postby aim54x on Sat Jan 23, 2010 1:26 pm

I know we have a bit of a BAD habit of having a go at Sony Alpha users, but I thought I would share this run in that I had a few minutes ago.

guy comes into store, asks how much the Sony 18-250mm lens is. I answer $1000. Guy says that he currently has an A200 but will be upgrading to an A850 soon. I inform him that the 18-250 will not be usable on the A850 as it is a crop sensor lens. Guy says...it is not labelled DT, I can use it. I start to explain that the 18-250 cannot be used on an A850 as it projects an image that covers ONLY the APS-C sensor....guy cuts me off and says "I wont argue with you over it, I've done my reading..." walks off

There is a sweet satisfaction in knowing that this guy will go out there and buy an 18-250 and then try it on that A850 only to feel like a fool.....

Absolute fucking wanker. I say let him waste his money and his time just to break his damn ego. Who gives a damn about "wannabe photographers."
