How awesome is this forum - a thank you note

Postby photomarcs on Thu May 13, 2010 1:19 am

Hey guys!

Don't you guys agree with the topic? how great is it to be a part of a community of dslrusers that can understand what it's like to see the way you see, and to have the same shivers up the spine when you hold a camera.
I find it great that as a community of members and dslr owners we can see eye to eye about certain things as well as learning, developing and refining to and from each other in a way that someone 30 years ago could only imagine.

Special thanks to Gstark on this one for running the forum, as well as all the moderators for contributing their efforts over the years that this site has been running, even though i've only JUST been a member for 8 or so months, the feel of posting up you're images on the critiques with genuine criticism, as well as having your opinion valued by someone really does mean alot to someone who doesn't get heard much.

To members and senior members alike, everyone here deserves a thank you of some form, thanks for critiquing, thanks for your opinion and thanks for reading. These three elements have made the site a success and it is only with hope that it stays that way for all of us to enjoy each other's opinion in "our reality, our truth."

No matter what though... Canon is better than Nikon.. LOOOL I JOKE ON THAT! HAHAHAHA ( hopes non of the member's hurt me  )

What really counts though, is our skill.. and as photographers and videographers and graphers of all types.. learning from each other is far better than from a book or a manual.

so to all, thanks guys! you're all friggin awesome!

Right back at ya.

Canon needs to get out of the megapixel bandwagon and concentrate on image quality.
