Howdy all, WOW, I can't believe 3 years can go by so quickly. That was the last time posted here on the forum. Since then I had a little hiatus from shooting as life and other things took up my time and the interest to take photos waned somewhat. Mid-late last year (2014) I decided to get the urge to pick up the camera again and start shooting and thought "what's better to get things off to a good start?", so I decided to finally purchase the Nikon 50 1.8G I'd wanted to get for SO long. Of course our annual Xmas holiday to Warrnambool saw me break out the camera and lenses (as usual) and since then I have been slowly getting back out there. It's good to see some of the regulars still hanging around this forum. I've had a peek in over the past couple of weeks and it doesn't seem as "busy" as it used to be....but I thought it was about time I jumped back in and said g'day.... ....so, g'day!

Hiya, and welcome back.
Sadly, yes, life does step in, and sometimes some of the things that we love do take a back seat.
But you're back. Let's see what you're shooting.

Still lurking. Posting... not so much. Mainly because like with you photography has been taking a back seat lately.
Coming up time for Colin to take us out mushrooming again. (Hint hint if you are lurking too)
