Hope this hasn't been mentioned already...

I purchased a copy of Digital Photography (issue 26) today and got a real buzz out of seeing one of our members' photos in the issue.

On page 86 is Rob's capture of the baby pelican he wowed us with in January.

It was really bizzare Rob, because I just mentioned that photo to my husband the other night as we were watching a documentary on Pelicans, and then to be able to show it to him in the mag was great!

Nice to know I keep company with such talented folk.

Cheers
Deb

Well done Rob - unfortunately I missed the original post, and I just checked it but found the links were now dead.

Would love it if you could repost the pic, as I'm after a pic of a Pelican chick to show my Mother (who as others have been told b4, is mad about Pelicans).

Thanks in advance!

Well I suppose that's gonna be yet ANOTHER digital photo magazine I'll be buying... all in the name of research mind you.

Hearty congratulations Rob and very well deserved. Judging by what I've seen in your portfolio, it won't be the last we see of your pics in such publications.

Well done Rob.

Any chance of seeing the shot again? I missed it first time round.

Or do you get royalties for every time the mag gets bought? :D

Robw25,

Well done.

Now all you need to do Rob is to receive a significant cash prize for further lens lust etc.

When you and Lorraine come to Adelaide next month, and we share lunch together, we will just order a couple bottle of red wine, and towards the end of drinking and making sure she has had her fill (if you know what I mean), bring up a lens/camera (D2x) of your choice and work on Lorraine (Minister of Finance) until she agrees. Hook up to Birddog via your laptop, and 7 calendar days later in will be in your hands. That simple :!: .
