SWIII (possible spoliers)I saw the midninght screening of Star Wars three, ROTS....
All I can say is that this movie is in a different leage to the first two.... The opening sequence REALLY grabs you and throws you into the ride Effects are some of the BEST and most beliveabke CGI I have ever seen, the ships (which are very cool) look much more believeable in this. While there is still some pretty bad acting the is also some exceptional acting and a much better developed plot than the first two.. And the best news: Jar Jar has NO LINES! (but does appear as an extra) And: this is no kids movie, there are some pretty horrific scenes, deserves it's M rating New page

funny thing..after a well known 'haunt' got 'closed down', went looking for a new 'distributor' and found a much larger 'source', and came across the entire series by accident.
the part where anakin is in the cave for the last jedi trial, i thought was not kid rated.
I'm off to watch it tonight.
Its funny, I was outside the George street cinemas last night and saw that it was the Australian premier. So there were blokes dressed as stormtroopers on the red carpet, and Vader at the end. Pretty cool. So I thought I'd wander across the road and take a closer look. I stop at the lights and look to my left and there is a guy in FULL Jedi outfit. The one with the really long pointy head. ANyway, the lights were taking ages to change. I couldnt help myself, and started smiling. I turned to him and said, laughing out load: "Gee, even Jedi knights have to wait for the lights to change I see". He didnt say anything ANd incidently, I am officially a Jedi. in the UK, for the last census, there was an email circulating stating that if enough people put down that their religion is Jedi, it becomes recognised. 390,000 of us did . tee hee

May I suggest going to watch it in Amsterdam, after having gone for a "cookie" and a "cigarette". That would make the film F**KING unreal.
Sitting in the audience using the force!

I do that at home anyways, so it wouldn't be a "different" experience. Pot is practically legal here. Well, not quite legal, but no one cares. Johnny

I'll probably wait for dvd.
However, I have the following to say: I like Jar Jar!!! (Yes, I am aware that I'm probably the only one in existence, including Mr. Lucas.) Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au
Contributor for fine magazines such as PC Authority and Popular Science.
I might wait until nnnnsic gets it on DVD and then borrow it. Maybe.....

I saw it on Thursday and it was sensational.
Really enjoyed it. Totally made up for the last two. Light sabres a go go in this one. Jar Jar has obviously had his tounge ripped out by someone thank god.
Well I watched it on Friday,
Was disappointed, The ending was shite how they tied it all in, ad they seemed like the director said , we only have 10 mins to tie up the loose ends so here it is. When darth vadar stands up and screams NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, what a joke. Why didnt Obi wan kill him??? I was dissapointed MATT Still better than the other 2
The ending was good in my opinion. Anakin's wife didnt die of the labour as he thought. She just lost the will to live, so it was ironic that he killed her by going to the darkside. Obi Wan didnt kill anakin because it was not part of the jedi code to kill an unarmed opponent. This was unlike Anakin who killed the trainer silth at the beginning thus starting his journey to the darkside. Interestingly, the prophecy Obi Wan talks about, where Anakin is the chosen one may be true. In episode 6, it was Vader/Anakin who kills the silth not Luke, thus bringing peace and balance to the force.
