Camera bag required

Postby rathalian on Thu May 26, 2005 3:44 am

Apologies to forum admins ahead of time if this is in the wrong area....

I am looking for an ex loved or relatively inexpensive bag for my camera and lenses.

I currently have a D70/kit lens/70-300 lens. The only case I have is a cover for the camera and the two lens cover bags.

Something comfortable to carry long distances (backpack ?).

Any advice or offers would be welcome.

The new microtrekker is less than $150.00 and minitrekker AW is just over $150.00, why should you consider you an used bag?
Back bag is the way to go and you can expand your gear in the near future without suffering.

And sorry to intrude on another thread, but just a reminder......

Birdy has given me a supply of D70Users branded Pro Loop straps for Melbourne members, $30 each. They are definitely the business, I have one, it is fantastic. The improvements over the standard Nikon strap are several. You will be amazed.

There is also a Lowepro MicroTrekker, brand spanking new, still in the plastic, on the ground in Melbourne for $130.

Anybody interested in any of the above, PM me.

I bought a LowePro Nova 5 AW last weekend for US$68 (list $89-99) and it is really nice. Room for my 2 D70 bodies, 6 lenses (although none of them are longer than 210mm) and 2 SB800's. Lots of pockets and dividers to customize everything. Well padded strap and handle. Well thought out and well made. Very pleased with it!
